Web design for local businesses.

A website is a road, not a brochure. It exists to carry someone from "I might need this" to "I called them." Most small business sites are built the other way around: a list of pages, a gallery, a paragraph about the team, and no clear place for a customer to go next. They look finished and convert nobody.

What we build

Custom sites, no templates, designed around the one action that matters to your business: a call, a booking, a quote request, a walk-in. Everything else on the page earns its place by getting someone closer to that action. That means fewer pages that do more work, copy written for a customer rather than for a search engine, and a layout that reads clearly at arm's length on a phone in bright desert sun.

Under the surface, the build is plain and fast. Small pages, compressed images, self-hosted fonts, no plugin pile to slow the site down or break on an update. Speed is not vanity here: it is the difference between a customer who waits and a customer who taps back.

Accessible by default, not as a retrofit

Every site we build targets WCAG 2.2 AA: real text contrast, keyboard navigation that works, alt text on images, headings in order, touch targets people can actually hit. This matters for two reasons. The first is that customers with low vision, tremors, or a cracked phone screen are still customers. The second is that California businesses are seeing a steady stream of accessibility demand letters under the ADA and the Unruh Act, and an inaccessible site is the evidence. Building it right costs nothing extra at design time and a great deal to fix later.

You can check where your current site stands right now with access/lens, our free scanner. It gives you a score and a plain-English report in about a minute.

Built to be found from day one

A beautiful site nobody can find is a very expensive business card. We lay the search and AI foundations while we build, not as a retrofit: clean URLs, real page titles, structured data that tells Google and AI assistants what your business is and where it serves, a sitemap, and content organized so a machine can lift a clean answer out of it. The work that makes a site rank and the work that makes an assistant recommend it are largely the same work, and it is far cheaper to do it during the build than after.

How the road gets built

01 / Discover. We learn the business, the customer, and the one action that pays for everything. We look at what you have now, what your competitors are doing, and what people actually search when they need what you sell.

02 / Plan. A page map and a wireframe before a single pixel of design: what pages exist, what each one is for, and how someone travels between them.

03 / Build. Design and development together, reviewed on real devices as it goes. Accessibility and search foundations are part of the build, not a phase at the end.

04 / Grow. We launch, watch what real visitors do, and fix what the data says is in the way. A site is a road, and roads get maintained.

What you get

  • A custom site, designed for your business and nobody else's
  • Mobile-first layouts, tested on real phones
  • WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility, verified before launch
  • Search and AI foundations built in: schema, clean structure, sitemap
  • Contact, booking or quote flows that a real person can complete
  • Fast hosting, a clear handover, and no lock-in

Built for the Coachella Valley

We work with businesses across Palm Springs, Palm Desert, Indio, La Quinta, Cathedral City, Rancho Mirage, Coachella, Thousand Palms and the towns between. Local shapes the work: seasonal traffic swings, a customer base that is half residents and half visitors, and searches that are almost always "near me" and almost always on a phone.
