your privacy choices
Your privacy choices.
One switch, no account, no form. It takes effect the moment you flip it and it applies to this browser on this device.
Checking this browser…
Needs JavaScript to save the setting. If you have it switched off, the browser-level options further down do the same job.
What the switch does
With it on, Google Analytics is never loaded on any page of this site, so neither _ga nor _ga_PM4MJ4CE4X is set, and no page view is reported. It also expires those two cookies if a previous visit already left them on your device, so opting out reaches backwards as well as forwards.
It does not stop Cloudflare Web Analytics, which stays on. That tool sets no cookies, does not fingerprint your browser and does not follow you to other sites: it counts page views and nothing else. We say so here rather than letting you assume one switch covers everything.
The setting lives in this browser's local storage. Clearing your site data clears it too, and it does not travel to your other devices — flip it again there.
Global Privacy Control
If your browser or extension sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out on every visit and Google Analytics never loads. You do not need the switch above, and it will tell you so. GPC is the better tool of the two because it carries to every site that honors it, not just this one.
Other ways to do the same thing
- Block analytics cookies in your browser settings, or use private browsing. The site works exactly the same without them.
- Install Google's official opt-out extension, which stops Google Analytics everywhere, not just here.
- Use a content blocker. We do not attempt to detect or work around them.
We do not sell or share your personal information
No advertising cookies, no social media pixels, no retargeting, and nothing sold or shared for cross-context behavioral advertising. There is no "do not sell" request to make here because there is no sale to stop, and this page exists so you can verify that rather than take our word for it.
Requests about your data
To ask what we hold about you, get a copy, correct it, or have it deleted, email hello@brenro.com. We will do it, and we will not ask you to justify the request. If you are a California resident, those are your rights under state law and using them changes nothing about how we treat you.
The full detail — what gets collected, who processes it, how long it is kept — is on the privacy page.
